Open WP Club started with plugins, but we’re not stopping there. Here’s what we’re building next and where the project is headed.
More plugins
We’ll keep building focused WordPress plugins that solve real problems. Our pipeline includes tools for:
- WooCommerce automation — Order processing, inventory sync, and reporting
- Security hardening — Login protection, file integrity monitoring, and audit logging
- Performance — Image optimization, caching helpers, and database cleanup
- Admin experience — Dashboard widgets, bulk actions, and workflow tools

Desktop app for WooCommerce
We’re building a native desktop application for managing WooCommerce stores. The goal: handle orders, inventory, and customers without opening a browser tab. It’s currently in early development.
Mobile app for WooCommerce
An Android app for checking orders and getting push notifications for new sales and low-stock alerts. Still in the planning phase, but it’s on the roadmap.
Developer tools
CLI tools and utilities that make WordPress development less painful:
- Scaffolding tools for new plugins
- Deployment helpers
- Local development environment setup
Website improvements
We’re continuing to improve openwpclub.com with better search, filtering, and content. The site itself is open source — feel free to contribute.

Everything we build is open source from day one. The best way to influence what we build is to contribute:

We don’t have a timeline because we don’t have deadlines. We ship when things are ready. But we’re actively working on all of the above, and you’re welcome to help.
